Photographer & Pianist

About

Brittany Florenz is a portrait photographer and classically trained pianist based in New York City.

Her portrait work has appeared in several music-related magazines and books as well as on CD covers. In addition to portraits, she has photographed performances and other events for the Interlochen Center for the Arts, New York University (NYU), and the Rhode Island College Dance Company.

She has completed workshops at the International Center of Photography in New York City in addition to continuous self-study. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

As a pianist, she has performed solo and chamber repertoire in venues in the U.S. and abroad. She is a dedicated teacher and has served as an adjunct instructor of piano at New York University, has taught at several music schools in New York City, and currently teaches privately.  In addition to her private teaching, she is a co-founder of and instructor at the Intermezzo Musicianship Festival, an annual online festival offering music theory and history classes.

Ms. Florenz completed a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master of Music degree in piano performance from New York University.
